After 66 posts (well, 67 if you count this one), I've come to dislike Blogger's comment system for two reasons:
- I can't use the (blockquote) html when I'm commenting, forcing me to do something dumb and confusing like putting a bunch of hyphens before and after a quote to show I'm quoting someone.
- I can't reply directly to someone's comment, forcing me to type "@ Anonymous:" or something like that.
I spent some time googling to find a way to fix this problem and I discovered Disqus, and I found Intense Debate through a blog everyone should subscribe to: LOL God.
You've probably noticed, if you're following me on Blogspot, that I posted this same entry with different titles, like, four times or something. I was trying out both Disqus and Intense Debate (I did this at my other, boring blog, and everything worked fine... probably 'cause it's so boring), and discovered that I don't quite like the way they look with the rest of my blog. Either the colors don't quite match my aesthetically sexy, Alaskan Aurora color scheme or the formatting (borders, margins, etc.) looks awful.
All of these problems are things I'm sure I could work with, work around, or fix... but it's 5:30 a.m. and I'm really tired, so I'll get around to it later. Maybe as a "you just wrote 100 posts" present to myself or something.
